NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1
PERIOD OF ASSIGNMENT: Assignment to last no longer than 12 months.
WHO MAY APPLY: Internal YPG S1 DA Civilians; high-performing NH-02/NH-03.
ABOUT THE POSITION: The S-1 Human Resources Directorate is seeking one candidate for this assignment which provides broadening experience supporting the S-1 team in performing Workforce Development work in support of human resources.
Job Responsibilities
Duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- Provides technical guidance and assistance to all levels of management in regards to professional training and workforce development.
- Analyzes, extracts, summarizes, and identifies significant trends and issues in a wide variety of procedures, organizations, functions, and programs within the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground.
- Forecasts and estimates program requirements and prepares programmatic reports, justifications, charts, graphs, statistical and narrative data, etc., for top-level presentations and briefings.
- Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of on-going program and projects: identifies real and potential problem areas and program shortcomings by conducting program surveys, audits, projects, etc., and providing advisory services to operating or management officials regarding complex programs.
- Solicits participation of YPG managers by means of electronic mail, telephone calls, surveys, and other means of personal contact, meets with managers in formal and informal settings.
