Job Summary

 Detail opportunity within ATC Command Staff, S1. 

 

 Open to only ATC Civilian Employees

 

 Period of Assignment - 90 days with potential extension

 

Dates of Assignment:

 

Start 30 June 2025

End  29 Septemeber 2025

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Ability to gather, analyze, and assist with student actions.
  • Track and manage student non-duty and duty status dates.
  • Skill to identify problems and develop innovative solutions to provide recommendations where guidelines and procedures do not exist.
  • Coordinate with Managers and Students logistics/invites for student final project presentations
  • Plan and execute student events.

Job Qualification

  • Per ATEC 350-1: Employees must have completed 1 year of employment prior to applying for a developmental assignment.
  • Must not have previously completed a developmental assignment within the last 2 years.
  • Applicants will be excluded from participating in the program if they have been subject to formal disciplinary actions within the last 52 weeks.

Specialized Experience

  • Knowledge of automated systems to gather, analyze, and present data.
  • Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures to monitor program effectiveness.

Conditions of Employment

  • Position requires applicant/incumbent to be able to obtain, and maintain, eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
  • Selectee will remain assigned to his/her permanent position of record while on the developmental assignment.
  • Selectee will remain at his/her current grade (DA has no promotion potential).
  • Salary and travel (if required) will be paid by parent organization.
