POSITION: Team Member, S-1 Human Resources Directorate

 

PLACE OF WORK: Yuma Proving Ground, S-1 Directorate

 

NUMBER OF POSITIONS: Up to 3 opportunities may be available.

 

PERIOD OF ASSIGNMENT: Assignment to last no longer than 120 days.   

 

WHO MAY APPLY: Internal YPG S1 DA Civilians; high-performing NH-03 [or equivalent (GS-12/13)].

 

ABOUT THE POSITION: The S-1 Human Resources Directorate is seeking one candidate for this assignment which provides broadening experience supporting the S-1 team in performing analytical and evaluative work in support of human resources.

Job Responsibilities

Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Develops and modifies data from sophisticated data forms for application to HR plans and operations. 
  • Queries and collects structured and unstructured personnel data from legacy HR systems and prepares data for analysis. 
  • Utilizes MS Excel and Business Object Applications Xi (BOXi) and Business Objects/Business Intelligence (BOBi) to generate interactive data management and visualization tools such as A365, PowerApps, PowerBi. 
  • Utilizes various software applications to transform data into useable information through the development of interactive dashboards and tools to manipulate, analyze, identify trends and statistics, and visually represent HR data.
  • Forecasts and estimates program requirements and prepares programmatic reports, justifications, charts, graphs, statistical and narrative data, etc., for top-level presentations and briefings. 
  • Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of on-going program and projects: identifies real and potential problem areas and program shortcomings by conducting program surveys, audits, projects, etc., and providing advisory services to operating or management officials regarding complex programs
