PLACE OF WORK: Virtual. Occasional TDY onsite at APG will be required.
PERIOD OF ASSIGNMENT: The assignment length is 12 months (on or about 1 October 2022 – 30 September 2023).
The U.S. Army Evaluation Center is seeking candidates for temporary details as Evaluators, Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) portfolio systems, Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) portfolio systems, and Cyberspace Survivability of plaform and network cyberspace systems (hereafter referred to as Cybersurvivability).

These positions offer a unique and challenging opportunity to influence and improve the Army’s cyberspace T&E program. You will be an integral part of a team of Army acquisition professionals to conduct, execute, report and improve the Army’s capabilities to test and evaluate programs within the DCO portfolio, the OCO portfolio, and Cybersurvivability. In this capacity, you will plan, observe test, analyze and evaluate data, and report results to senior ATEC and Army leadership. Equally important, you will develop methodology, capability and strategy to posture ATEC with next-generation critical cyberspace T&E capability supporting the Joint All Domain for Army 2030.
You will have test and evaluation responsibility for systems in your assigned portfolio. Additionally, you will be responsible for assessing current methodologies and processes used to conduct cyberspace T&E for your commodity area, identify gaps related to skillsets, personnel, infrastructure, and instrumentation.
As an evaluator, you will have two primary responsibilities: (1) ensure evaluation products are complete, factual and professionally presented; (2) support development of recommendations to ATEC Senior Leadership, and subsequent implementation as directed, in areas of organizational structure, methodologies, capabilities and strategies to improve the conduct of Army cyberspace T&E to meet the demands of Multi-Domain Operations in the 2030 battlespace. This will be accomplished by collaborating with personnel in the Pilot and with personnel across the Army T&E Enterprise, to include all ATEC Test Centers, DAC, TSMO, Science and Technology Centers, Sister Service T&E Enterprises, and related cyberspace focused organizations.
The Pilot program will have In Process Reviews (IPR), as needed but no less than quarterly, to AEC and ATEC senior leadership, and you will be responsible for providing content to the products required by the Pilot Director in support and execution of these IPRs.

Conditions of Employment
