PLACE OF WORK: U.S. Army Operational Test Command (USAOTC), Fort Cavazos, Texas
The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) and OTC are participating in an alternate personnel system known as the Acquisition Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). Among other features, the Demonstration Project replaced GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands. The band NH-03 is equal to the former GS-12 Step 01 through GS-13 step 10. ATEC uses salary control points to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $134,435 including locality.
The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command has various incentives that may be available for highly qualified candidates, including recruitment incentives, relocation incentives, student loan repayment, and credit for leave accrual. Incentives may be authorized IAW agency policy.

Job Responsibilities
This position is located in the Command's Innovations Cell tasked to develop strategic capabilities, investment, configuration and integration processes that provide vision and enterprise solutions to support Army modernization efforts.
- Serves as analyst for testing support roles such as test technology (modeling, simulations, instrumentation, and test control products and projects).
- Project Leader for capability development and/or methodology and analysis, including strategic and budgetary planning, and validating/organizing/briefing data.
- Coordinates and resolves matters at multi-echelon levels and across various teams/agencies to manage workflow and test capability reporting requirements.
- Provides technical guidance in development of test design and data collection plans, testing methodology, and broad categories of materiel, equipment, modeling and simulation systems integration and funding.
- Advises management on future advances in the data science and project management of technology data collection, reduction, analysis, and visualization.

Conditions of Employment

- This position may require temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 40% of the time. TDY may require travel by military or commercial aircraft.

Travel Requirements
