Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and outgoing individual to temporarily serve as the Instrumentation Development Division Chief, Test Technology Directorate. 

Job Responsibilities

Serves as a Division Chief with responsibility for the supervision, management and direction of a group of scientific and engineering personnel engaged in such activities as:

              (a) Conducting research studies to develop new concepts of field and laboratory instrumentation and testing methodology

(b) Designing, developing, and evaluating advanced instrumentation concepts

(c) Providing system engineering analysis on selected ATC test programs

(d) Managing and providing technical leadership to the ATC program for research and development of instrumentation

(e) Managing and providing technical leadership to the ATC program for methodology improvement

(f) Managing and providing engineering leadership to the development of ATC test capabilities.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:  Interested candidate should possess the following KSAs

KSA 1: Skill in managing and supervising professional and nonprofessional personnel engaged in a wide variety of test and evaluation projects/functional areas.

KSA 2: Skill in conducting Decision Analysis to employ procedures, methods and tools for conducting trade studies to balance cost, schedule, performance and risk to select a solution.

KSA 3: Ability to identify problems and develop innovative solutions to plan and direct instrumentation development and integration efforts for the test center to include managing risk, identifying problems and developing innovative solutions.
