For more information on ATEC, salary, benefits, etc., see: https://www.atecciviliancareers.com.This position is located at the U.S. Army Evaluation Center, Aviation Fires Evaluation Directorate (AFED), Suitability Division at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.Control Point Statement: The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) is participating in an alternate personnel system known as the Acquisition Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). Among other features, the Demonstration Project replaced GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands. The band NH-04 is equal to the former GS-14 Step 01 through GS-15 step 10. ATEC uses salary control points to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broad band. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $182,258, including locality.
Job Responsibilities
- Serves as Senior Suitability Evaluator, shaping and overseeing evaluations for systems in Future Vertical Lift (FVL) Cross-Functional Team and Aviation Functional Areas systems. Assess political, fiscal, and other factors affecting customer and program needs.
- Performs a broad range of analysis for assigned systems and inherent Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) duties in support of Army Acquisition.
- Communicates and implements strategic plans, goals, objectives, assignments, and actionable events, both within and across organizational lines. Coaches and provides guidance, and assists and identifying and solving problems.
- Conducts and oversees Integrated Product Support (IPS) Evaluations, to include planning, analysis, and reporting. Integrates Human System Integration (HSI) assessments from external agencies
- Conducts Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) Evaluations, to include test planning, reliability growth planning, statistical and engineering analysis, failure mode analysis, and evaluation reporting. Implements RAM policy, standards, methodology, and tools.
- Applies an understanding of how systems integrate in their intended operational environment.

Conditions of Employment

- This position requires a Secret Security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background and credit investigation are required.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
- Financial Disclosure Statement OGE-450 is used to assist agencies and employees to avoid conflicts between duties and financial interest. The position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter.
- This is an Acquisition Position. Selectee must obtain Test & Evaluation certification at the Practitioner Career Level Certification within 5 years.
