Job Summary

About the Position: This position is with US Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) located at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, New Mexico. ATEC is participating in the Acquisition Demonstration Project system. The band NH-02 is equal to the former GS-5 step 01 to GS-11 step 10. Salary control points are used within the salary range to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $72.310.

Job Responsibilities

• In this position you will serve as General Supply Specialist with the Army Test and Evaluation Command located at Holloman Air Force Base, Alamogordo, New Mexico (Army tenant of White Sands Missile Range, Test Center, Army Air Division.)
• Providing technical expertise and direction of the supply operations for the division organizations.
• Provides services required to control and account for assigned items such as avionics, test support material, vehicles, general supplies, clothing and textiles, communications electronics, industrial fuels, and any other assigned items.
• Requisitions, receives, distributes, and coordinates the availability of supplies and equipment for Army Air.
• Validates automated systems actions such as requisitions and excess declarations to ensure that automated systems actions are correct or are corrected.
• Documents and reports automated system problems beyond the resourceful operator scope to those responsible for the solution.
• Resolves discrepancies in ordering, shipping, receiving, and preparing discrepancy reports.
