The United States Army Test and Evaluation Command is posting this advertisement to fill a current vacancy. The chosen candidate will serve as an Interdisciplinary Engineer supporting the Instrumentation Division, Engineering Support Branch at Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma, AZ. Selection of this position will be made at the NH-03. The NH-03 band is equal to the GS-12 step 1 through GS-13 step 10.

 

*There is no immediate change in pay for those reassigned within the NH-03 pay band.

Job Responsibilities

 

As an Interdisciplinary Engineer, you will:

  • Manage technical projects to advance the capabilities of instrumentation systems.
  • Plan, design, develop, and integrate firmware, software, and hardware using engineering, physics (Optics, Radar, etc.), mathematics, and/or computer technology tools as a leader and/or team member.
  • Continually modernize and refine various instrumentation and data acquisition capabilities, ensuring compliance with evolving mission requirements while maintaining technical contact with other Government and non-government agencies, contractors, universities
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Instrumentation and Testing related questions both internal and externally.
