Temporary Promotion Opportunity - Supervisory Engineer, NH-0801/0830/0861-04

 

The United States Army Test and Evaluation Command is posting this advertisement to fill short-term assignment opportunity. The chosen candidate will serve as the (Supervisory Engineer) Chief of the Air Delivery Branch, within Aviation Systems & Electronic Test Division.

 

This opportunity is open to NH-04 (GS 14/15) equivalent) or high-performing NH-03 (GS 12/13 equivalent) employees currently assigned to ATEC - Yuma Proving Ground.

 

This short term assignment will begin on/around 13 Nov 2023 and end on/around 11 May 2024.

 

 

As a Supervisory General Engineer, you will:

• Lead the organization responsible for the US Army's Developmental Testing of airborne and airdrop systems.
• Supervise Test Officer, NH-03 Engineers and GS-11/GS-12 Test Technicians.
• Provide oversight of 20 soldiers for the conduct of the mission.
• Oversee the safe and effective execution of test operations.
• Manage budgets, purchasing and business operations for the Branch.
• Support test design, development, and coordination with external customers.
• Develop and implement sustainment and investment plans for the Branch.
• Coordinate with other ASET branches, YPG organizations, and external resources for test execution
• Provide support to Directorate and Command initiatives.
