PLACE OF WORK: Fort Cavazos, Texas
The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) is participating in analternate personnel system known as the Acquisition Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). Among other features, the Demonstration Project replaced GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands. The band NH-03 is equal to the former GS-12 Step 01 through GS-13 step 10. ATEC uses salary control points to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $134,435 including locality.
Various incentives may be available for highly qualified candidates. These include Recruitment Incentives, Relocation Incentives, Student LoanRepayment, and Credit for Leave Accrual. Incentives may be authorized IAW agency policy.

Job Responsibilities
As an Operations Research Analyst for the Mission Command Test Directorate (MCTD), duties include:
-- Serve as expert and mentor in requirements development, design, data collection, data reduction, data analysis and reporting for operational tst or experiments using scientific methods.
-- Analyze major phases of varied equipment/systems, using mathematical models, matrices, instrumentation, modeling and/or simulation.
-- Develop or analyze modeling/simulation technology for systems/equipment under test or experimentation.

HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED. You will be evaluated based on your level of competency in the following areas:
Qualifying experience may include:
-- Utilization methods such as modeling, simulation, and mathematical models to analyze program/resource requirements
-- Identifying various stages of system development and cost factors
-- Assisting with design of a data collection plan to enhance the processing and storage of information.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
