Job Summary
U.S. Army Redstone Test Center (RTC) participates in an alternate personnel system known as the Acquisition Demonstration Project, AcqDemo, among other features, AcqDemo replaces GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands.
The NH-02 band is equal to the GS-05 step 1 through GS-11 step 10. However, this position is subject to the NH-02, Non-Supervisory Analyst(V) Executive Assistant (V) control point of the ATEC Control Point Policy $80,737 per year, not including locality pay.
Job Responsibilities

Responsible for managing programs, projects, and events.

Monitor/Manage a wide variety of technical, operational, and administrative matters.

Provide accurate and timely analysis, synthesis, and integration of information between staff activities/elements and lateral commands.

Good oral and written communication.

Ability to problem-solve and address issues independently.
Job Qualification
Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
NOTE: Applicants must meet time-in-grade and time after competitive appointment requirements, by the closing date of this announcement.
Time-In-Grade Requirements:
Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
There is no substitute for education for specialized experience for the GS-11 position.
Specialized Experience
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
One year of specialized experience, which includes: 1) ability to conduct the military decision-making process, and 2) effectively conduct staff analysis, and 3) a mastery in multitasking, and 4) advanced capability in Microsoft Office Suite.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-5).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirements using experience alone-no substitution for experience is permitted.

Conditions of Employment
