Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Serves as a Credit Card holder, maintains all records of credit card purchases and verifies statement for payment.
- Performs a wide range of purchasing and contracting functions.
- Analyzes office supply needs, procures, and ensures use of equipment and supplies.
- Prepares and submits purchase request and service contracts in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) a web-enabled enterprise resource planning system.
- Serves as liaison with Resource Management Division, Defense Finance and Accounting System (DFAS), Directorate of Contracting, contractors and other government offices to resolve issues and keep close surveillance on critical requirements.
- Monitors contractor operations to ensure compliance with performance requirements and performs a variety of contract administration functions.
- Performs a variety of budgetary and administrative functions involving the implementation of the organization's budgetary program, policies, and procedures.
Job Qualification

Specialized Experience
OR
EDUCATION: Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., In a field in which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of this position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
OR
COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Combination of specialized experience as described above in GS-09 experience; and education less than three years of higher level graduate education (In excess of the first 36 semester hours (i.e beyond the second year) which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. To qualify for this position the computed percentage of the requirements must equal 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify at the GS-11 level. Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is defined as; (1) Performing a wide range of supply concepts, principles, practices, procedures, (2) Appling regulations applicable to supply management to include equipment asset authorizations, ordering and movement, supply chain management and, (3) Performing multi-layer organization's inventory and accountability
OR
EDUCATION: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related, from an accredited school. In a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
OR
COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Combination of specialized experience as described above in GS-11 experience; education and have less than 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D or equivalent, or LL.M., in related field. Conditions of Employment
- The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the duration of your employment.
- This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 5% of the time.
- Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
- Incumbent is required to obtain/maintain a government motor vehicle license.
- The duties of this position require submission of a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually.
