Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, reviewing, evaluating, and providing expert engineering/technical advice.
  • Provide advice relative to all aspects of the overall test and evaluation effort associated with one or several specific aviation, sensor or missile weapons systems, subsystems, components, and associated equipment or materiel
  • Represent RTC during the initial planning and design phase of the development test program.
  • Determine test design requirements and the ability to meet requirements to determine modifications required to accommodate the Aviation, Missile, Sensor or associated test program.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of research and development and life cycle test plans and specifications describing number and type of tests and hardware requirements for Aviation, Missile and component testing.
  • Develop schedules for planning the various test programs to ensure the most economical and technically sound approach for satisfying program objectives, to minimize duplicate tests, and to meet major program milestones.
  • Coordinate customer test portfolios through recommendation to, and coordination with RTC functional test directorates, and various test agencies, and review of test program documentation (test requests, procedures, safety analyses, etc.).
  • Determine and communicate requirements for, and coordinates the utilization of test resources (funding, manpower, test hardware, and facilities) needed to test Army Aviation, Missile, Sensor and associated components.
