The Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) mission statement: The U.S. Army Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) executes developmental testing in direct support of Army Futures Command, Program Executive Offices, DOD partners and industry partners to ensure our War fighters are enabled to dominate the future battlefield.

Job Responsibilities
Serves as a Telecommunications Specialist in the Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Division within Electronic Proving Ground (EPG).
Plans, organizes, and conducts studies, and develops documentation such as functional descriptions, operational requirements, and test management plans.
Provide technical guidance and direction on GPS system integration and performance evaluation.
Develops and submits customer support agreements, test planning documentation, test plans, and test reports.
Monitor and perform detailed analysis of program progress and resource utilization.
Attend key decision-making meetings, briefings, and/or functional reviews to represent the Director or to provide recommendations and advice concerning programs.
Communicate with customers for ongoing and potential new testing work. Suppo

In order to qualify, you must meet the general minimum requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmericCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious, spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To be eligible, you must have, and your resume must describe, at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level.

In addition to meeting the basic requirements above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience, which includes: 1) Overseeing the development of test design, budgets, system simulation/stimulation, data collection approaches, instrumentation, analysis, and after-action methodologies; 2) Managing test assets at organization and at participating service/agency test system sites nationwide to ensure proper test configuration and efficient execution; 3) Developing guidelines and documents to support test planning, and 4) Reviews test procedures and post-test reports for accuracy and completeness.
Specialized Experience (for positions above GS-5): Experience in evaluating, analyzing, developing, managing, or improving communications systems, procedures, and requirements that demonstrate knowledge of current developments and trends in communications concepts and technology.
The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirements using experience alone-no substitution for experience is permitted.

Conditions of Employment
Some positions can require a Top-Secret security clearance or Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Access (SCI) and personnel must pass drug screening prior to hiring and will be subject to periodic and random drug testing thereafter in accordance with AR 600-85 and Department of Defense Directive 2010.9.
This position may require occasional overnight travel away from the normal duty station for business purposes up to 25% of the time.
May be required to work shift, weekends, or holidays temporarily in support of EW/GPS tests.
This position requires personnel to obtain and maintain Defense Acquisition University Test and Evaluation Practitioner within 2 years.
