Job Responsibilities
Serves as the directorate Information System Security Office (ISSO) to Intelligence and Electronics Warfare Test Directorate (IEWTD) to provide support in the planning, operations and execution of operational tests.
Serves as a network information management officer. Plans, conducts and reports operational tests, assessments and experiments for the acquisition and fielding of Warfighting systems.
Applies analytical processes to the planning, design and implementation of new and advanced Information Technology (IT) systems and projects to meet the business regulatory and cybersecurity requirements of customer organizations.
Work requires analytical ability, judgment, discretion and knowledge of IT programs, principles, concepts, policies, and objectives in order to perform duties.

Specialized Experience
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Applying and enforcing current Army information systems (AIS) Cybersecurity requirements throughout the life cycle of tests or projects; and 2) Applying analytical processes to the planning, design and implementation of new and advanced Information Technology (IT) systems and projects; and 3) Conducting Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) scans and anti-virus scans and evaluates same for validity and compatibility for subject networks and workstations.

Conditions of Employment
- Must obtain and maintain Information Assurance Certification and computing environment certifications per Army Policy and DoD Directive.
- Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- This position has been identified as IAW AR 600-85 under the Civilian Drug Abuse Testing Program. Accordingly, as a condition of employment, the incumbent is required to undergo urinalysis testing at the discretion of the commander or supervisor, and sign a “Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified as Critical under the Drug Abuse Testing Program.
- Temporary Duty Travel up to 10% may be required.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- A trial/probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from the Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
