Job Summary
The United States Army Test and Evaluation Command is posting this advertisement for the subject position above under the Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) Direct-Hire Authority. The chosen candidate will serve as a Security Officer (Antiterrorism) supporting the Plans and Operations Directorate, Operations Division, Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma, AZ. A selection will be made soon after the closing date. Selection of this position will be made at the GS-12 grade level.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the Serves as the US Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) Antiterrorism Officer (ATO) and implements a program designed to protect DoD personnel, facilities, and automated information assets from an entire spectrum of threats.
As a Security Officer (Antiterrorism) you will:
- Direct the development, implementation, and operation of an integrated AT program.
- Guide crisis management planning and execution in the event of a terrorist attack.
- Provide planning advice to the YPG Commander on new policies, resolution of complex vulnerabilities, crisis management, and possible threats.
- Train and responsible for executing and monitoring the Core Vulnerability Assessment Management Program (CVAMP).
- Recommend revision of local policy as a result of trends discovered in the review and analysis process.
- Provide policy and written technical guidance to be issued as command directive and prepares official correspondence for implementation of the Antiterrorism Program
- Perform staff visits to YPG mission subordinate activities to provide guidance on policy and ensure compliance with Antiterrorism program objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate the conduct of YPG Antiterrorism exercises.
- Conduct after action reviews to determine effectiveness of exercises, and identify organizational, planning or training deficiencies and recommends solutions to issues.
