Dugway Proving Ground is seeking applicants for a Program Manager with a background in Chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRNE) defense for the CWMD Support Branch, Special Programs Division on Dugway Proving Ground, UT. Dugway Proving Ground is approximately 50 minutes from Tooele, Utah, and 90-minute drive from Salt Lake City, Utah. Job Responsibilities

Manages and monitors the execution of Homeland Security Programs. Provides advice and direction on all projects and programs related to testing and training of Homeland Security forces and other organizations with related missions. Acts as the Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) representative to the Homeland Security community. Provide proposals, cost estimates and up- dated funding expenditures and reports pertaining to various testing and training programs. Allocate and manage resources required to successfully accomplish the completion of chemical/biological testing and training requirements. Responsible for overseeing the development of course curricula, lesson plans and instructor guides, teaching and instructing in classroom and field settings, and writing, administering and evaluating the practical demonstration during training scenarios. Responsible for training records, after action reports (AAR), and other related training and testing evaluations involving all Homeland Security communities.

Specialized Experience

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

SPECIALZED EXPERIENCE FOR THE GS-13: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must demonstrate as least one year of: 1. Experience with chemical and biological warfare defense operations. AND 2. Experience in creating course curricula for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high yield Explosives. (CBRNE) operations/responses. This definition of specialized experience is typical of the work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
