Job Summary
About the Position: This position is located at the Advanced Technology Office, U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC), with a duty location of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. (merit)
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee command wide strategic programs and plans of action that define the test center's role and mission under DOD/DA directives and initiatives.
- Manage program requirements, objectives, and metrics; analyze the impact of DoD, DA, and higher HQ's policy changes on mission goals and objectives; and resolve conflicts that arise among schedules, funding, and resource requirements.
- Serve as a senior technical authority on test and evaluation (T and E) operations, core competencies, organizational make-up, and assignment strategies.
- Initiate and lead complex research projects, crossing multiple functional disciplines, to assess and evaluate mission alternatives for inclusion in command wide strategic plans and studies.
- Develop and implement quantitative measurement methods to determine effectiveness of alternatives; analyze and defend each alternative for mission, organizational, and customer impact; and present recommendations to command leadership.
- Develop influential and motivational proposals and presentations aimed at highlighting an accurate understanding and perception of the test center as the Army's innovative, requirements-driven testing capability provider.
- Articulate and communicate team assignments, projects, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, as well as deadlines and periods for completion.
