Job Summary
Dugway Proving Ground is seeking applicants for our summer hire internships for individuals with a clerical background to work at Dugway Proving Ground, UT. Dugway Proving Ground is approximately 50 minutes from Tooele, Utah, and 90 minute drive from Salt Lake City, Utah. Dugway offers affordable on post housing as well as subsidized commuter van transport. Contact the Relocation Program Manager at 435-831-2260. Position is temporary, not to exceed 30-SEP-2022.
Salary on the announcement depicts the GS-4 step 1 through GS-4 step 10 annual salary which includes locality pay.

Job Responsibilities
Provides assistance to higher level employees, performing one or more of the following duties: gathering data for reports, studies, typing emails and information documents, cleaning up files, recordkeeping, etc.
Coordinates some aspects of visits to Dugway to include preliminary arrangements; writing, typing, monitoring and updating visit itineraries; and preparing support arrangements. Supports distinguished visitors' activities across Dugway and ensure arrangements are correct. Activities include transportation, dining, ceremonies and tours.
Job Qualification
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g.., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. For qualifications determinations your resume must contain hour worked per week and the dates of employment (i.e., HRS per week and the month/year to month/year or month/year to present). If your resume does not contain this information, your application may be marked as incomplete and you many not receive consideration for this position.
GENERAL Experience for the GS-4: In order to be found qualified, your resume must reflect one year of progressive experience in clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE FOR THE GS-04: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: successful completion a 2-year course of study above the high school level. (Transcripts must be provided)
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
