This Temporary Promotion/Temporary Assignment is for a Supervisory Interdisciplinary position located in the U.S. ATEC, Headquarters, Army Test and Evaluation Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, Capabilities Division, to serve as a Supervisory Interdisciplinary NH-04 (Branch Chief) for a period Not to Exceed 6 months. An NH-03 that is selected for this position will be temporarily promoted to an NH-04. NH-04s that are selected for this position may be eligible to receive supervisory differential pay.

Job Responsibilities

Serves as a Branch Chief responsible for performing a broad range of analyses for difficult to define, controversial, new, or novel systems/functions of major agency, national, or international impact. Manages a staff of 5-10 civilian and contractor employees responsible for the command's test technology investment program and associated strategic planning, research and development, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) build, and implementation of all technology development initiatives in support of the command. This program includes, but is not limited to, distributed testing capability, test technology investment program, command meteorological mission, military construction requirements, and other science and technology related initiatives. Applies professional knowledge of engineering and mathematical methodology and techniques in scientific computation to provide guidance, technical support and assistance to the ATEC subordinate organizations on all matters pertaining to test and evaluation mission.
