Job Summary
About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command Headquarters, G3/ G5 Safety Directorate, with a duty location of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command has various incentives that may be available for highly qualified candidates. Job Responsibilities
- Serves as a Test Engineer, performing a broad range of analyses for difficult-to-define, controversial, new, or novel systems and functions of major agency, national or international impact.
- Manages special projects and analyses that require comprehensive, accurate, timely, responsive, well-researched verbal and written information to senior leaders.
- Performs technical reviews of regulatory guidance and participates in the creation and update of test policies and test operating procedures.
- Reviews and provides input to draft requirement documents, system or performance specifications and statements of work, test plans and reports, and other acquisition and policy documents.
- Participates in developing new test policies, methodologies, and techniques to improve internal processes and capabilities.
- Acts as the Headquarters Army Test and Evaluation (ATEC) representative to potential customers, working to attract additional tests to the subordinate organizations.
