Job Summary
Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) provides test and test support services for authorized customers within and outside of DoD, including Government and non-Government organizations, domestic and foreign. Perform comprehensive test and training, both real and simulated, exploit emerging technologies, and develop leading-edge instrumentation and test methodologies. Internship positions provide for development and training. Assignments become more responsible as incumbent increases knowledge and skills through work experience and academic training.

As a student Engineer/Mathematician/IT/Computer Science you will:
- Provide technical support to development of programs
- Complete mathematical computations to obtain values
- Analyze computer and software system requirements
- Perform routine tasks associated with physical tests andexperiments
OTHER:
- Students will be appointed to a term appointment not to exceed 4 years and may be extended up to 6. Each year you will be evaluated for continued employment.
- Selectee may have the option to work full-time or part-time.
- Upon completion of your degree may have the ability to convert onto ATC roles at the GS-05/07/09/11 with a FPL NH-03 (GS-12).
Job Qualification
Degree and Qualifications:: For this internship, you must be a student enrolled full-time and majoring in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology Management and be making satisfactory progress towards receipt of a baccalaureate or graduate degree.
GS-02 - Students must have graduated from high school or been awarded a certificate equivalent to graduating from high school.
